The Eastern Kentucky University soccer team took down Lipscomb, 2-1 on senior day to move into first place for the western division.

Lipscomb was the first to find the net but before going into the half, EKU forward Lucy Ream knocked one in to tie the game, 1-1.

Coming out of the half, the Colonels defense was able to keep the Bisons from scoring. EKU defender Mackenzie Burdick connected with a corner kick to make the game winning goal.

The Colonels improve on the season 7-7 overall and 3-3 in conference play. EKU will match up against Central Arkansas on the road on Thursday at 8 p.m.
