The Eastern Kentucky University soccer team fell to Jacksonville State at home, 4-0 on Tuesday, March 16.

The Colonels defense was unable to stop the Gamecocks from scoring four goals. The Gamecocks had their biggest performance of the game in the second half scoring three goals.

Sophomore Maddy Lemery had a game high of six shot attempts. While sophomore Audrey Anderson pitched in four shots and senior Taran McMillan had two attempts.

EKU was able to try for seven corner kicks, while holding JSU to only two but wasn’t enough to get a win on Tuesday.

Eastern Kentucky falls to 1-3 on the season.

The Colonels will try to bounce back on Friday in Clarksville, Tennessee against Austin Peay at 3 p.m.
