Just shy of a month ago, the Richmond City Commission voted to approve an order that would potentially expand Gill Industries Inc. through a grant tax incentive program by 30 to 40 jobs. Tuesday night, they approved a similar order, but this was for Project Red Zone, a company within an existing manufacturing facility in Richmond.

Construction is nearing completion for the water line extension project at the Richmond Industrial Park South III off of Duncannon Lane that will result in 3,300 feet of 12-inch water lines being installed, according to David Stipes, the executive director of the Richmond Industrial Development Corporation (RIDC).

The Richmond City Commission approved an order that would grant tax incentives to Gill Industries Inc., that if approved by the Kentucky Business Investment (KBI), would expand the facility and be able to add 30 to 40 jobs.
