SECOND UPDATE 05/10 1:39PM: The Madison County Coroner released the name of the man killed in a Thursday night crash in Richmond at Main and Third Streets.

Kenneth Ray Sizemore, 53, of Richmond, died at the hospital after being taken there along with the passenger that was also riding the moped.

Richmond police said an SUV hit Sizemore's moped. There were no other occupants in the SUV at the time of the accident.

RPD is handling the case, and Kentucky State Police is handling the accident's reconstruction, according to officials

The investigation is ongoing.

One person was killed and another person was injured in an overnight crash in Richmond, according to a WKYT report.

The crash happened late Thursday night on Main Street at Third Street.

Richmond police said an SUV hit a moped. Two people were on the moped at the time. Police said both people on the moped were taken to the hospital.

The coroner told WKYT one of the people on the moped later died. The coroner would only say the victim was a white man.
