Lower Case Dining temporarily closed due to COVID-19

According to Eastern Kentucky University Dining, an employee in Lower Case has tested positive for COVID-19.

This employee is currently under the care of medical professionals and recovering in self-quarantine.

In a post on Twitter, dining officials said that upon learning of this case, they enacted their protocol for notifying individuals who may have come in contact with this person and are asking them to self-quarantine for a period of 14 days, per CDC guidance.

Lower Case closed at 11 a.m. on Thursday and will remain closed for 24 hours to allow thorough deep cleaning to take place.
