On Oct. 22, President Michael Benson announced that the interim Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, Jerry Pogatshnik, would be permanently fulfilling the role through the 2020-21 academic year.

According to Benson, Pogatshnik will be retiring from EKU in June at the end of the term. He has served as the interim provost since January 2019.
