Finals week is bringing an alternative schedule to Eastern Kentucky University’s on campus dining locations.
Certain locations will be closed throughout the entire week, such as the P.O.D.s in the Business and Technology Center and Stratton Building.
The Stratton Cafe will be open during winter break. The cafe will be open for breakfast and lunch from 7 a.m to 1 p.m. and dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.from Dec. 16 to 19 and on Dec. 20 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m, it will be open for breakfast and lunch.
The cafe will then close until after the new year, when it will reopen on Jan. 6 until Jan. 9 and be open for breakfast and lunch from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dinner will be served from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. The cafe will operate from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Jan 10.
Starbucks in lower Powell will also be open during winter break. From Dec. 16 through Dec. 19, Starbucks will be open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and then will close until Jan. 6. Starbucks will then be open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Jan. 10.
Restaurants in lower Case will be on their regular schedule until Wednesday, Dec. 11. They will continue to open at their usual times throughout the week. Moe’s and Panda Express will close at 3 p.m. instead of their usual 11 p.m.
Java City in the library will close at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12 and be closed for the rest of the break. Subway will close early on Thursday as well; they will be open until 4 p.m. and then be closed for the rest of the break.
Case Kitchen will be open at their usual time throughout the week but then will close at 7 p.m. instead of their usual 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. Case Kitchen will close at 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and then be closed for the remainder of the break.
The on campus dining locations will return to their normal schedules after winter break.
