Students interested in studying abroad in Italy or taking women and gender studies classes can do both of these by enrolling in "Gender and Class in Southern Italy," offered by Lisa Day during Summer 2020.

This is an Eastern Kentucky University specific program, so students will learn and live with other EKU students.

These students will have the opportunity to learn in Rome, Pompeii, Salerno, Naples and the Amalfi Coast. Participants will also have the opportunity to take an Italian course. The program costs $3,300 and does not include airfare.

The application and deposit are due before spring break.

There are scholarships available and those interested should email Lisa Day at or call622-7235.
