The Eastern Kentucky University Office of Military & Veteran Affairs will host an event sponsored by the EKU Libraries on June 28 at 10 a.m.

The movie, “The SixTripleEight,” about the only all-female, all-Black Army unit to serve during WWII in Europe will be shown during the event. Immediately following the screening, there will be an interview with EKU Oral Historian Neil Kasiak and Elizabeth Helm-Frazier, who is an Army veteran and co-producer of the film.

All participants will receive a free complimentary box lunch.

The event will be open to the public but requires pre-registration at https://va.eku.edu/events/sixtripleeight-film-screening-and-interview-veteran-producer-elizabeth-helm-frazier.
