Eastern Kentucky University students should know that all residence halls with the exceptions of Grand Campus, Walters Hall, Martin Hall and South Hall will close on Dec. 14. However, there is also a larger change occurring during the upcoming spring semester as well.

Keene Hall will be closing and all students currently living there will need to move to Telford Hall for the same rate they currently pay for living in Keene.

Students also have the optiom of moving elsewhere.

This change is due to planned renovations to the building. After renovations are complete, Keene Hall will become an option for break housing as well.

Another shakeup will occur during the Fall 2020 semester when McGregor Hall undergoes renovations to its roof, pipes, HVAC and windows.

This will prevent current residents from calling dibs this semester to claim a room in their current building. Instead, students will have to select a different hall for residency.
