The Lexington Ballet Company is bringing “The Nutcracker” to Richmond at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 14 at the Eastern Kentucky University Center for the Arts. 

The show will be directed by Luis Dominguez. According to the Ballet Company’s website, Dominguez was the first Latin male soloist at the Dance Theatre of Harlem. 

The Center for the Arts’ website says that “The Nutcracker” follows the story of Clara, who follows the Sugar Plum Fairy and other characters to the Land of Sweets as they will have to battle the Mouse King.
