Colonel’s Cupboard hosts Stack the Cupboard to generate donations and raise awareness.

Stack the Cupboard is a free competition that will take place at Powell Plaza on April 25, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The objective is for teams of six to 10 Eastern Kentucky University students to stack the highest possible structure out of donatable items within a 30 minute window. Teams can sign up for the event at https://forms.gle/RJedFsWHwYGJ86q36. 

 Teams will provide their own items that will be donated to the Cupboard post-competition. The cupboard is currently in need of toiletries including toothbrushes, toothpaste, diapers, pull ups, baby wipes, feminine hygiene products, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, razors, dish soap, tide pods, toilet paper, tissues, sanitizing wipes and can openers. Food items include single serve dinners, canned fruit, granola bars, pop tarts, peanut butter, breakfast items, canned chicken, individual cups of rice and pasta side packets. Items donated will directly benefit students using the Cupboard.

Colonel’s Cupboard contributes to students' success by assisting students who may experience food insecurity, providing toiletries and food as needed.
