The Eastern Kentucky University College of Justice, Safety, and Military Science dean search committee will be holding three interviews with dean candidates over the next two weeks. Over the next week, three forums will be held that are open to all campus community members.

On Thursday, Oct. 28 at 1:15 p.m. there will be an open forum with candidate Derek Paulsen, the current interim dean of EKU’s College of Justice, Safety, and Military Science. There will be an open forum with candidate Tamson Six on Friday, Oct. 29 at 1:15 p.m. Six is currently a professor of criminal justice at Lock Haven University, where she was the chair of the department of Criminal Justice from 2005 to 2017. An open forum with candidate David Kauzlarich will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 2 at 1:15 p.m. Kauzlarich is currently head of the department of sociology at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. All open forums are being held in Stratton 330 and online via Zoom.
