Rush week underway at EKU

Members of Phi Kappa Alpha were one of two fraternities trying to recruit members in front of McGregor Hall on Tuesday. From left to right: Jean Dumay, Lucas Totzke, Tyler Newton, Dylan Hornsby, Kale Teeples, Cameron Covany, and Redempteur Nshimiriman. Teeples, the vice president of the fraternity, says recruitment has been good so far and they’ve heard from a lot of potential members. Teeples said he hopes to continue the fraternity’s philanthropy successes, as they raised $9,800 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital last semester. The chapter also won Interfraternity Council (IFC) Chapter of the Year last spring.
