Eastern Students Show Off Creative Scholarship in an

Online Art & Design Exhibition In response to limited exhibition opportunities due to COVID-19, the Art & Design Program at Eastern Kentucky University will celebrate the creative research and scholarship of 28 innovative students in a distinctive online exhibit, Art + Design Invitational: Virtual Student Exhibition. The multidisciplinary showcase will go live on Thursday, April 8, and remain available online for the foreseeable future. The exhibit will highlight various disciplines in Art & Design: Art Education, Art History, Ceramics, Drawing, Graphic Design, Jewelry/Metals, Painting, Photography, and Printmaking. This invitational will be a time to rejoice over student successes, and will help promote creative achievements here at Eastern to a larger audience. This virtual exhibition will coincide with EKU Scholars Week, an annual event celebrating a culture of scholarship, research, and creative endeavors.

ABOUT EKU ART + DESIGN: The Art & Design program at Eastern Kentucky University attracts emerging artists, designers, and scholars of extraordinary promise. They, in partnership with our exceptional faculty, form a unique educational community for undergraduate research. Studies are offered in Art Education, Art History, Ceramics, Graphic Design, Jewelry/Metals, Painting, Photography, and Printmaking.
