Baseball falls to East Tennessee State's hot bats

Bucaneers pound Colonels for 14 runs in midweek series

Eastern baseball couldn't slow down the hot bats of visiting East Tennessee State, Tuesday night, losing 18-7.The Buccaneers held the Colonels scoreless through the first two innings but scored 11 runs of their own to take a commanding lead. The loss dropped Eastern to 14-27 on the year.

Worthington hits 500-win milestone

Softball coach reaches 500th career win in 19th season with Eastern

With a 1-0 win over Bellarmine, the Colonel softball team picked up its first win in program history. That was back in 1993. Fast forward to last Sunday afternoon, in game three of a series against Austin Peay. Austin Peay's, Catie Cozart flied out to center field for the final out of Eastern's 9-4 victory over the Govs, giving the softball program, and Head Coach Jane Worthington milestone win No.
