Eastern's women's golf team finished in a tie for fourth place at the rain-shortened EKU Spring Invitational, played at the Arlington Golf and Country Club in Richmond. Rain on Friday forced first-round action to be canceled, and the teams finished the tournament by playing two rounds Saturday.…

With seven players batting .320 or better, it's not hard to believe that the Eastern women's softball team is currently second place in the OVC. Men's golf finished outside the top five for the first time this season, taking sixth in the Marshall Invitational Saturday in Huntington, W. Va. The tournament was scheduled for three rounds but was shortened to two after Friday's first round washed out.…

The Colonel's men's tennis team returns to Richmond after a two win weekend in Tennessee last week. Eastern beat Austin Peay 5-2 on Friday, and followed that victory with a 4-3 win over UT Martin on Saturday. With the weekend's results, the Colonels improve to 15-10 overall and 5-2 in the OVC.…

The women's tennis team's dominance of the OVC continued this weekend as the lady Colonels trounced Austin Peay and UT Martin to improve to 17-5 overall and 8-0 in the OVC. "This is the best EKU women's team I've had by far.
