Strong pitching and hitting allowed Eastern’s softball team to sweep Northern Kentucky University in a doubleheader April 23.

Eastern’s softball team started this week’s schedule on a high note by grabbing a doubleheader victory against University of Tennessee at Martin on April 21.

The first of the three doubleheaders during the past week ended with split success after Eastern’s softball team went 1-1 against Southeast Missouri away.

Eastern’s softball team battled Tennessee State this weekend, snatching a three game sweep against the Tigers, Saturday and Sunday.

The Colonels earned two conference wins in a doubleheader against Austin Peay State University on April 7. The win pushed Eastern’s conference record to 10-4.

Eastern’s softball team started its weekend by sweeping Murray State University in a doubleheader on April 6 thanks to a strong offensive showing.
