Eastern’s men’s basketball team concludes its 2012-13 season with an 86-72 loss to the University of Evansville Purple Aces in the Collegeinsider.com Postseason tournament.

Eastern played two games in the OVC Championship in Nashville, Tenn., but came up short against perennial OVC power Murray State in the semi finals.

Dynamite shooting by sophomore Corey Walden drove Eastern’s men’s basketball team to a 69-62 victory over Gardner-Webb University in the first game of the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament.

Eastern traveled to Tennessee State on Saturday March 2 and came up short in overtime.

The Colonels achieved school history Thursday Feb. 28 night in Cookeville, Tenn. against Tennessee Tech University after a 69-54 win.

In a nationally televised contest, Eastern came up short against Valparaiso, 82-60.

On a night where the student section came out in full force, and even did the Harlem shake, it was only fitting that the Colonels gave Richmond one last show at home.

Out of all Division 1 teams in Kentucky, Eastern now holds the best record.

After a foul-filled game, Eastern pulled off a hard-fought win against Tennessee Tech 80-69.
