Ashley Tisdale's debut album 'Headstrong' is so wrongAshley Tisdale is her name and sounding like any and every other underage pop start that hits the scene is her game, apparently.

I won't lie. At first, I was so excited to hear her CD was coming out. "Headstrong" even seemed to be a neat title. I figured I'd get a little power girl punk, a la Ashlee Simpson. That's some good stuff sometimes.

Instead it was ear-bleeding, oh baby give me some of you, husky, oohing and aahing that sounded like she just wanted to get up on some guy and show him a thing or two.

Let's begin, shall we?

There's an intro. And I'm sorry, but if you have to personally introduce yourself on your debut CD by whispering and telling someone to "show me some positivity," I mean, why not make it a song? Why title the first track Intro? Was it really that hard to come up with tracks that you had to B.S. such a thing?

After the intro, it kicks into a teenage dance mix type song "So Much For You." Trying to sound like Britney Spears was cool once. You know, back when Britney ruled the charts instead of divorce court.

She rambles on about how she'll Do That if you have this or that. I don't know what that is, but I most certainly don't care. Should I?

And her pitch? Ouch.

Oh, let's stop and take a deep breath before track three starts. I'll admit it's catchy. But my gosh. They all sound the same! "He Said She Said" is just.words escape me.

She uses phrases such as: "Boy walk in the spot he so fresh," "She blowin' your mind with her asset," and "Ain't no question chicks like wooo." That's all I have to say about that.

Okay, really, it's not that I hate material like this. I usually find a guilty pleasure in poppy, oh baby music you can shake a hip to. But, I just don't know. It's so cookie cutter, it's sad.

My heart goes out to her, really.

She's so awesome on the Disney channel (yes, I watch it and love it). Her role on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and High School Musical: beautiful.

Why ruin a good thing? She obviously came out with an album before she was ready.

I swear to you every song has the same beat/bass line/probably words in just a different order. And the word baby has to be number one on her list of favorite words to use and annoy the crap out of people with.

On "Positivity," she begs to have some positivity shown to her; all I'm wanting is some originality. Is it that too much to ask for?

I mentioned Ashlee Simpson earlier.she has a song entitled "Love Me For Me." Funny thing is, Ms. Tisdale has a song entitled the exact same thing. One's slow and one's fast, mind you, but I beg to differ for the creative juices flowing.

Okay, so I've butchered her debut album. I hate to do it. I seriously was so excited about getting her CD; I'm not kidding.

I did notice it was in the top 10 downloads for iTunes.

I'm happy for her.

I just don't see why she couldn't have taken a little more time, put out a good CD and made it worth the listener's while.

She has so much potential. Where'd it go? I don't know.

She can sing, yes.

But, really.stick to acting.

I liked her so much more before she tried to become the next Lindsay Lohan.

What's next? Rehab?
