Palmer Hall residents and those in the Commonwealth Building are advised to boil their tap-water due to a break in the water main until further notice.
The main broke Monday, September 11, during the construction of the new recreation center where Todd and Dupree Halls used to stand.
Paul Ganoe, interim associate vice president of facilities services and capital planning, said the main needed to be moved.
It is advised that only water to be consumed or used for brushing teeth needs to be boiled. Bottled water is currently being provided to Palmer Hall residents.
