The Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards is recruiting students for the new Student Judicial Committee. Applications are being accepted until Tuesday, September 12.
The Student Judicial Committee is comprised of students, referred to as advocates, who “wish to make a positive change on campus.” Their roles include hearing alleged violations of the Student Code of Conduct while advocating for students.
The office requires students to have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and they must be registered for a minimum of 30 credit hours. The Student Judicial Committee is a yearlong commitment with two committees that meet weekly. One committee will meet on Wednesdays at 4 p.m. and another will meet on Thursdays at 3 p.m.
