The Board of Regents will consider a request to change a policy that would allow for the sanctioning of students that violate the tobacco-free policy as well as a request to amend the SGA Constitution at its quarterly meeting Monday, Oct. 20 in Hazard at the University Center of the Mountains.

Committee meetings will start at 8 a.m. with the finance and planning committee and the executive and academic affairs committee meeting at 9:30 a.m. At 10:30 a.m., the Board’s student life, discipline and athletics committee will meet and at 11 a.m. will be a meeting for the audit and compliance committee.

The regular quarterly meeting will begin at 11:30 a.m. with an executive session to follow at 12:30 p.m.

The Board will have a groundbreaking ceremony for the Lilley Cornett Woods Research Center at 2 p.m. as well as a tour of the woods.
