The Richmond Fire Department and Eastern Police responded to a vehicle fire at 6:42 p.m. near the intersection of Kit Carson Drive and the Eastern Bypass.
An Eastern Police officer responded to Telford Hall at 8:43 a.m. after a bench warrant was issued for a resident. Upon arrival, the officer located Jahmareon Guy, 21, from Lexington, who had a warrant for failure to appear in court. Guy was transported to the Madison County Detention Center.
An Eastern Police officer responded to Clay Hall at 9:41 a.m. to serve a warrant from Hardin County. Kamren Parker, 19, from Vine Grove, was charged with receiving a stolen firearm. He was taken to the Madison County Detention Center.
Eastern Police were advised by the Madison County Emergency Operations Center at 1:44 a.m. that seven men removed a soccer goal from the Model Lab soccer field. The officers went to an off-campus house and met Cody Creamer, 21, from Richmond who said if someone had taken the soccer goal he wouldn’t know about it. He allowed the officers to search the backyard and they located the missing soccer goal. Other renters of the property, Jacob Hall, 21, from Louisville, and Matthew Lynch, 22, from River Forest, Ill. were also present when the goal was stolen. The officer said the renters knew people from their party that had brought the soccer goal to the house. Hall, Creamer and Lynch were cited with receiving stolen property under $500.
An Eastern Police officer on patrol at 1:14 a.m. observed Johnathan Ehret, 18, from Mt. Prospect, Ill. struggling with another person. The individual had Ehret on the ground trying to prevent him from getting up. Other people outside of Commonwealth Hall told the officer that Ehret was very drunk. The officer said Ehret began to get combative when he tried to handcuff him. Another officer stopped to help put Ehret into handcuffs. He was then placed in a police cruiser and taken to the Madison County Detention Center.
