On a night where the student section came out in full force, and even did the Harlem shake, it was only fitting that the Colonels gave Richmond one last show at home.

Eastern improved to 22 wins with a 91-53 win against Austin Peay.

Eastern had nine 3-pointers in the first half by six different players and played incredible defense the whole game to leave a lasting impression on everyone in the conference.

Mike DiNunno’s last home game as a Colonel was a memorable one, playing his best game defensively according to head coach Jeff Neubauer.

After the game, DiNunno talked about his feelings on the final game at home.

“It hasn’t sunk in yet,” he said. “I’ve been so focused on what coach has asked me to do.  I think I will think about it more when the season’s over, but now I’m just focused on getting to the NCAA tournament.”

The win marked a tie for the program record of most wins in a season program.
