Renown saxophonist’s Quartet visits
EKU Center for the Arts

The Brandford Marsalis Quartet will perform Feb. 26 at the EKU Center for the Arts. The event will feature music from Marsalis, a Grammy Award-winning saxophonist and his quartet’s jazz. Tickets are $10 for students and must be purchased at the Center’s ticket office between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information contact Shawn LaDouceur at 622-7469.

Theatre Program presents Man of LaMancha

The EKU Theatre and Department of Music will feature the play Man of LaMancha at 8 p.m. Feb. 27 through March 2 and at 2 p.m. March 3 at Gifford Theatre.  The play is an adaptation of a Broadway play about Miguel de Cervantes, author of Don Quixote. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students and senior citizens. The box office can only accept cash or checks made out to Eastern. Lancaster Avenue closed for construction Feb. 25

Lancaster Avenue will be closed from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25 while concrete is laid for the pedestrian walkway over traffic. Also, WG&T construction set up a crane on the south side of University Drive Feb. 20, but traffic impact will be minimal.
