A male student reported a bike was stolen outside of Case Hall. He said he placed his bike on a bike rack and when he returned the next day, it was gone. He could not remember if he locked his bike to the bike rack. The bike is valued at $180.

An officer was investigating another incident when he came in contact with Steven Rowland, student. Rowland had a strong odor of alcohol on his person. He failed the one-legged stand sobriety test by putting his foot down twice, using his arms for balance and swaying. Rowland was arrested for alcohol intoxication and was transported to the Madison County Detention Center.

Aug. 30

An employee reported office furniture and an area rug were stolen from a study room in Burrier. She said the furniture was in the room when she left Monday. When she returned Tuesday, the furniture was missing. She also said the area rug by the front door was missing Thursday. The stolen furniture includes three office chairs, three desks and one area rug. The stolen property is valued at $437.

A student was arrested for alcohol intoxication. An officer was called to Commonwealth Hall where two people were in a verbal argument. Bradley Milford had a strong odor of alcohol on him and was uneasy on his feet. He was given the ABC test and failed. Milford was arrested for alcohol intoxication and transported to the Madison County Detention Center.

Someone reported a small fire in Brockton apartments. The fire happened when a fan motor of a stove vent caught fire. There was no structure damage reported.
