An article in last week’s progress (“students and administration get serious about bullsh*t”) incorrectly attributes to me the claim that “eastern students are not exempt from being bullsh*tted, and are constantly being forced to either step around or step in bullsh*t.” while i agree that students are not exempt from being bullsh*tted at eku, i sharply oppose the assertion that their exposure to it at eku is constant. Rather, i suspect bullsh*t at eku is probably of a magnitude well within the range typical of higher education, and no more epidemic on our campus than on any other. As long as higher education continues to fortify students against the lifelong onslaught of bullsh*t they face after graduation, the amount contended with in college seems to me a modest price to pay.Rob Sica, Crabbe Library
