(Reggie Beehner)

Now we’ve all had embarrassing moments. And we all hate talking about them. But I’m willing to talk about it.It usually takes something major to embarrass me, but I had my most embarrassing moment (so far at least) just last month.

I am taking senior seminar class and a requirement for the class is to complete a mock interview with EKU Career Services. At this mock interview, a counselor will interview you as an employer would and videotape your interview. Then, the counselor critiques you and you get to watch your videotape.

And although the experience at first was horribly terrifying, I have to be honest with you: It was a life-changing experience.

I learned exactly what I need to do in order to give a great first impression to an employer. (Thanks Kim!)
