Goblins, unicorns and Flintstones alike came out for Eastern’s second annual Halloween Ball.Emmy Cooney, a sophomore political science major, said everything was great, from the decorations to the food.

“It’s so much fun and everybody’s dancing,” Cooney said.

Cooney was right. The Mario brothers, Chewbacca and Master Chief (from “Halo”) swung their hips and their Nintendo controllers as they boogied across the dance floor. Sarah Hale, a sophomore economics major, learned a dance from YouTube and performed it in the middle of the dance floor with much approval from the crowd.

It was great to have something on campus to bring people together, she said.

Annie Kipp, student activities special events chair, said she thought everything was an overall success. With a sold-out crowd, Kipp said she thought everyone really enjoyed themselves.
