Flowers in bloom and students out and about can only mean one thing … spring has sprung on campus and students are enjoying the change in weather. Temperatures reached the 80s earlier this week, but are expected to fall as thunderstorms roll through the area today and this weekend.

Students traded in coats and boots for shorts and flip-flops and spent time outside on campus.

“I like going out and playing basketball, and I coach a little league baseball team — we’ve had great weather for all of that,” said Brandon Cull, a junior from Carrollton.
