Dear Editor,This letter is in regard to your article about the EKU professor who was arrested for not leaving the Army Depot.

Consider this… the professor tried to block a federal army depot driveway in a time of war. Said person was warned by Federal Marshals to move from the area or be arrested. Said person appeared to be complaining about being arrested, handcuffed, shackelled, and apparently didn’t like the breakfast menu.

However, said person was warned that she was breaking the law, but refused to think of the consequences. All in the name of Peace.

But consider this…Peace does not come free. The price of peace for the US has always cost us in bloodshed. I for one, am proud of those in our military who are willing to put their lives on the line and risk their own bloodshed to uphold the ideals this country is based on.
Had our armed forces not believed in this cause, we would be living in a totally different world now than we are. Consider if HITLER HAD NOT BEEN STOPPED. What kind of world would this be now?

I, for one, am sick of movie stars and actors, musicians, and people in authority who protest liberating a country of oppressed people, and refuse to obey the own laws of their land. These people are frivilous and enjoy their freedoms to the fullest, yet don’t have the “balls” or “backbone” to help an oppressed nation to recieve the same freedoms.

SUPPORT THE COALITON FORCES. STAND UP TO THOSE WHO TURN THEIR HEADS AGAINST OPPRESSION BECAUSE THEIR MIGHT BE BLOODSHED. Our armed forces have always risked their lives so that we can have the freedoms that we do have.
